My Secret On How I Avoided Stretch Marks For Both of My Pregnancies

Your body goes through a lot during pregnancy. Some things you just have no control over, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t do your best to prevent things from happening. That’s how I pretty much felt when it came to stretch marks on my body. I had no control how much my skin was going stretch while my daughters were growing in my belly, but I for damn sure was going to do anything and everything that I could to make sure I could prevent things getting out of control.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was DIY shorty and was trying everything. It was hard for me to find quality products with quality organic ingredients that I could trust putting on my body. It wasn’t until I created the perfect blend of nourishing oils that not only helped prevent, but truly hydrated and nourished my dry itchy skin throughout my pregnancy.

That’s when I had officially finalized the formula for my Nourishing Belly Oil that I now sell at Nicole Barker Beauty. It’s a blend of organic oils enriched with Shea Nut Oil, Aloe Vera, Baobab and Avocado oils that I used not only on my belly, but on the thighs, breasts and butt as well. I had stretch marks prior to my pregnancies, but luckily I was able to avoid them with both pregnancies with my daughters who are just 19 months apart.

Formulated with all organic oils for the best quality for the safety of your body and baby as your body is the most vulnerable. I not only used this on my growing belly to soothe and hydrate, but also on my breasts, thighs and honestly anywhere to provide hydration on my stretching skin.

I kept this oil handy at all times. Sounds like a bit much? Yup! I care that much about my skin. I applied this oil on my belly and body first thing in the morning, and right before bed at night. When I would have a tough day with aches and pains, I would have my husband use it as a massage oil to rub all over and to help me relax. It truly works wonders!

One of the biggest things I learned about my body during pregnancy is that you have to release control of things happening to your body, but putting in the preventative work is key.

Head over to Nicole Barker Beauty to bless yourself, your belly and body with this amazing nourishing oil as an amazing helping hand as a stretch mark preventative. I can’t assure you it’s totally worth it.

Xoxo,

Britt
